Sandie Hawthorne graduated with a Degree in Theater from Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois, and has been active in performing and directing for over fifty years. Although she worked some with an actor’s equity card, did some with radio commercials, her life also included learning to live with Multiple Sclerosis, diagnosed over 50 years ago.

Sandie spent a couple years teaching school, but was in real estate for 32 years in Illinois as well as Walnut Creek, California.

Sandie was also on the motivational speaker circuit throughout the states of Illinois and Missouri, speaking to businessmen and women. The title of her presentation was “Sell The Sizzle,” and included audience participation!

Having been in The Villages for thirteen and a half years, the first two as a snowbird, Sandie has been very busy enjoying retirement, but devoting much of her life to theater arts.
