Steve Rubin came to us experienced and prepared to direct  He directed "They're Playing Our Song".  (Book by Neil Simon, Music by Marvin Hamlish, lyrics by Carole Bayer-Sager)in the Fall of 2014

     Originally from New York and a college graduate in business, Steve worked in the corporate world, later moving to New Jersey to help raise his 4 children (3 girls, 1 boy) and commuted into Manhattan.  Even in his working years, Steve stayed involved with theater, whether it was acting, directing or working on production teams.

     It didn't take long after moving to The Villages, for Steve to get involved and get the not to direct a play, The Second Time Around for the Villages Theatre Company, October 2013.
